In my North Georgia Market Area - Marietta, East Cobb, Cobb County, North Fulton, Alpharetta, Roswell, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, and Buckhead:
 
            - 547 homes sold
            - 151 condos sold
 
in the last 30 days!
 
 
II.  The BIG Real Estate Picture
 
See the article at the link below "The Real State of Real Estate" by Gary Watts, a real estate economist and broker in Orange County, CA who has been often quoted in Money Magazine.  It is full of facts about what is going on today in the real estate market.  Once you sift through them,  the gloom and doom in the news regarding
       
        - Foreclosures,
        - Sub-Prime loans, and
        - Adjustable Rate Mortgages getting ready to adjust
 
 may be much more hype than reality. 
 
I know and work with people daily who are feeling the crunch, but there may not be as many as the media leads us to believe.
